The Area "Serra de Tramuntana"

Our rural houses in Majorca, Finca Barcelona and Finca Biniforani Nou, are situated on the foot of Serra de Tramuntana mountains, where the natural and cultural wealth of the landscape has earned the UNESCO World Heritage Site designation.

Thanks to its exceptional location between the sea and the mountains, it is the perfect place for visiting the wonderful towns, coves and ports on the north coast of Majorca, for cycling, hiking in the mountains and travelling to other parts of the island. It is also ideal if all you want to do is relax and enjoy the peace and quiet, while looking at the views from the terrace or the garden, or taking a refreshing dip in the pool.

La villa Finca Barcelona villa is situated in a peaceful rural setting, surrounded by terraced groves with olive, almond and carob trees, woods and mountains. The town of Bunyola is just a stone’s throw away, and it is known for its little stone houses resting on the mountain slope, its steep alleyways and its traditional staircases that afford a rewarding view of Palma bay at the top.

In the surroundings you can enjoy the charm and peacefulness of the Mediterranean country life; go for a walk in Sa Comuna park; visit the valley and the town of Orient; discover the wine-growing area, the traditional Santa María market and the beautiful Sóller Valley; explore the historical gardens of Alfabia and practise water sports in the fantastic Port de Sóller. You can discover the beautiful landscape of Valldemossa, Deià, Llucalcari, Fornalutx, Torrent de Pareis… which captivated the Archduke Ludwig Salvator of Austria, Chopin and George Sand, Robert Graves, Miró, Michael Douglas… and many other artists.

You can get to Palma from Bunyola or visit the attractive town of Sóller on the historical wooden train. In Sóller a charming tram will take you to the port through beautiful orange groves. And from there you can travel by boat to Sa Calobra and visit Torrent de Paréis. A magical journey and, without doubt, a memorable experience.

Drive for just a few minutes and you’ll find a golf course, several equestrian centres, tennis and paddle tennis clubs, coves and beaches... as well as direct access to many walks, and cultural and cycling routes.

Bunyola is just 10 minutes from the capital, Palma, 15 minutes from the famous Port de Sóller, and 20 minutes from the airport. There are regular bus and train services to the rest of the island from the town.

You’ll love Majorca. Come and enjoy it!
